Plonki

FAQ

Who actually registers the domain?

Plonki is an Australian domain reseller. Domains are registered through an ICANN- and auDA-accredited registrar, in the owner's name from the contact you send.

Who owns the domain?

The person or business in the contact. That's the legal registrant. You or your customer can move it to another registrar at any time with the transfer code.

Which extensions do you sell?

Popular generic ones like .com, .net, .org, .io, .ai, .app, .dev and .co, plus .com.au, .net.au, .org.au, .id.au and .au. The full live list is on the Prices page and GET /prices.

Can I transfer my existing domains to Plonki?

Yes. Use Transfer in in the dashboard, check_transfer and transfer_domain with an assistant, or POST /v1/transfers. You need the transfer code from your current registrar. Most transfers finish within 1 to 7 days.

Do you do email?

Email forwarding is included free: hello@yourdomain can forward to any inbox you already have. Mailboxes aren't sold yet.

Do you renew automatically?

Not yet. Renew before expires_at with renew_domain or POST /domains/{domain}/renew.

Can I buy premium domains?

Not at the moment. Search marks premium names so you can skip them.

Is there WHOIS privacy?

Not as a paid option yet.

Can an AI assistant buy a domain without asking me?

It's told never to, and every purchase needs a max_price. Start in test mode, and only grant domains:write to assistants you trust.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Test keys are free. You only pay when you register a real domain.

How do I get help?

Use Support in the dashboard or email hello@plonki.com.au.
