.com.au and .au domains
Australian domains are regulated by auDA. The registrant has to be eligible, so these orders carry an au_eligibilityobject with the business's ABN or ACN. Plonki sends it to the registry with the order.

Eligibility saved on a contact is reused. In the dashboard, Contacts has an Australian business section. Through the API, send au_eligibility with the first .au order and it's stored on the contact created from contact.
Good to know
- auDA can ask the registrant to confirm their identity. If that happens, we'll contact you.
- .au names can't be transfer-locked, so
transfer_lockisnullfor them. - Check
min_yearsandmax_yearsin GET /prices for allowed terms. - If an agent forgets eligibility, the order fails fast with
au_eligibility_requiredand a hint saying what to ask for.
